Objectives of the Day
Cascade Financing is a mechanism of the European Commission (EC) to distribute public funds aimed at supporting SMEs and start-ups in the integration and development of technological innovations. These funds are made available to companies through calls focused on promoting the adoption of new technologies by their end users. The maximum budget for aid to companies through this mechanism is variable, depending on the objectives of each project, but is usually around 60,000-250,000 euros of non-refundable subsidy.
The main objective of this conference is to make Basque SMEs aware of the mechanisms and methodology of waterfall financing, bringing early calls with Basque participation, which will be launched in the next semester. In addition, during the day, success stories from the companies Aotech and Cyber Surgery will be shown, the support services of the Enterprise Europe Network will be detailed and the Basque entities managing these calls will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Interviews with project managers with waterfall financing
After the information session, interested entities may request a bilateral meeting with those responsible for the cascade financing projects presented, as well as with those responsible for the ELBE and Silicon Eurocluster projects presented on the previous day. If you are interested in any calls, you must complete the information on the registration form identifying the corresponding call. The deadline for receiving completed forms will be November 28.
