ADMA TranS4MErs offers you the fast and flexible innovation support you need to start your digital transformation journey and take the next step into becoming a Factory of the Future.
Completing the ADMA TranS4MErs Scan is the best way to start your advanced manufacturing transformation journey.
ADMA TranS4MErs supports small to medium manufacturing enterprises to digitally transform into factories of the future. We help them identify priority areas for transformation, and fund services to support their transformation journey through the ADMA SCAN.
The SCAN is based on seven key transformation areas related to the themes of Industry 4.0.
Today we are focusing on the first area, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, guided by Jiří Janošec. Jiri is a TranS4MEr – an expert advisor on hand to guide manufacturing companies - from the Technology Centre Prague, a key Czech institution providing information and consultancy services on European Framework Programmes for Research, Development and Innovation to Czech SMEs.
Advanced Manufacturing Technologies
This transformation area is based on the use of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Given the high level of wages, European manufacturing SMEs cannot afford to produce with machinery that is outdated compared to their non-European competitors. Areas of improvement for SMEs in the context of the ADMA TranS4MErs project could include aligning the company's investment policy with the company's strategic vision, improving the skills of the workforce to handle advanced manufacturing technologies, or updating the maintenance strategy to enable high levels of so-called "Overall Equipment Effectiveness".
TranS4MEr recommendations
The ADMA TranS4MErs network spans the whole of the EU, bringing together expert service providers to create a comprehensive catalogue of services, focused on digital transformation for manufacturing companies.
Completing the ADMA TranS4MErs Scan is the start of an advanced manufacturing transformation journey. If the result of this scan shows that the SME needs to focus on this area, the next step is to select suitable services from Service Providers and integrate them into the Transformation and Implementation Plan.
Such services available on the TranS4MErs xChange Platform and funded through the programme could include, for example, the following:
Title | Description |
---|---|
Machine vision expertise (MASOC) | Short course about machine vision for the industry, its implementation possibilities, examples, and investigation of existing production control systems done manually. |
Introduction to MLA (Machine Learning Academy) (DIMECC) | MLA is a competence development and upskilling training program tailored for the manufacturing Industry. After the MLA training, participants will understand the fundamentals of Machine Learning and have the ability to recognize and manage development tasks that aim to benefit from the use of Machine Learning. |
Space technologies for digitalization of your "ground" entrepreneurship (TC Prague) | ESA Technology Broker offers a customised search for the most suitable technologies from space for further SME "ground" growth. The goal is to transfer technology from ESA space programs to other industrial areas outside the space sector. |
