<lead>
In the framework of “Tech Industry 2022”, the biggest and most important industrial fair in the Baltic Region, the ADMA TranS4MErs partner Latvian Technological Centre (LTC) organized several events to promote and enable transformation, foster innovation and cooperation, and create networking opportunities for SMEs and TranS4MErs.

The theme of the fair was precisely within the scope of ADMA TranS4MErs' main goal of anchoring a future-proof and sustainable Manufacturing industry in Europe.

Latvian Technological Centre was present with a Scientist innovation stand at the international trade fair for mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, industrial supplies, tools and innovative technology. During the three days of the fair, LTC representatives presented the project and its opportunities to numerous representatives of SMEs interested in the possible assistance provided by the project.

LTC held a widely attended seminar where Ints Viksna, director of Latvian Technological centre, introduced for the first time the ADMA TranS4MErs project to a broader local audience and presented its holistic approach and methodology addressing both technology-oriented and non-technological transformation areas. The main emphasis was on SMEs and business organisations. During the seminar, Ints Viksna also presented the soon-to-be-launched xChange, ADMA TranS4Mers’ open digital platform that will grant access to workshops, remote advisory services, virtual training and webinars, and ad-hoc remote support. After the seminar, numerous experts showed their interest in the possibility of joining the ADMA TranS4MErs programme and becoming TranS4MErs.

Moreover, during the B2B matchmaking event, Latvian Technological Centre representatives had on-site and virtual meetings. They presented to interested parties the adaptation of advanced manufacturing solutions and social innovation strategies and how to become next-generation factories with more competitive, modern, and sustainable production.

The following enterprises participated in the events: Latvian Technological Centre, MASOC, Naglis & ERR Ltd., Zippy Vision, Duroc Machine Tool Ltd., PERUZA, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) / Europe Enterprise network in Latvia (EEN), EEN IPR helpdesk.
Moreover, the company NAGLIS & ERR, representing the potential of high-quality metalworking equipment manufactured in Japan OKUMA and AMADA in the Baltic States, informed of their technologies and possibilities and held on-site training.

In conclusion, we can state that ADMA TranS4MErs aroused great interest and willingness to participate by both SMEs and potential TranS4MErs. We are glad to note that, in particular, SMEs emphasised the real tangible value offered by the project.
